Scope of work:
To design, supply, and install a video wall system integrated with KVM and control solutions, enabling Insulet to monitor, control, and collaborate efficiently within their Building Management System (BMS) operations center.
The Challenges
Insulet needed a centralized video wall system to improve real-time monitoring and control of their facility operations.
Required a flexible video wall layout capable of displaying multiple dashboards and system feeds simultaneously.
Needed a KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) switcher system with extenders and receivers to allow remote access to servers located in a separate control room.
Users needed the ability to edit and manage displayed content locally through desktop control units for quick adjustments and monitoring updates.
The Solutions
We provided a fully integrated video wall and control system tailored to Insulet’s operational needs:
Installed a 3×2 video wall setup using six 65” displays to deliver sharp, high-resolution visuals for real-time monitoring.
Integrated a DigiBird video wall processor and management software, enabling flexible screen layouts, smooth transitions, and customizable display configurations.
Implemented a KVM switcher system with extenders and receivers, allowing users to access and control remote servers seamlessly without lag or disruption.
Configured two local desktop units for direct content management and layout adjustments, giving operators full control over what’s displayed on the video wall.
Designed the entire setup to operate efficiently and reliably for continuous use within the BMS environment.
Results
The new video wall system significantly enhances visibility, efficiency, and collaboration within Insulet’s facility.
